Meet the Illustrator
Hello! My name is Judit Hotea.
I raised my daughter here on Long Island's South Shore in Wantagh.
I worked as a fashion designer in NYC for many years, but I never let go of my first love: painting. My creative journey also extended into hand-knitted sweaters, jewelry-making, and tapestry weaving, each one a reflection of my heritage, imagination, and deep appreciation for craftsmanship.
Art, for me, is not just a profession—it’s a way of seeing and connecting with the world. I hope to continue creating pieces that tell stories, evoke emotion, and celebrate the beauty of handmade
artistry.
